Kitsilano Farmers' Market -سوق المزارعين بكيتسيلانو فانكوفر
So I am back in Vancouver and I am trying to enjoy the last sunny weekends and farmers' markets in the city. I am not sure where exactly farmers' market are common, but I know they are in Vancouver. Farmers' markets are community organized markets where farmers gather to sell their fresh produce to the residents of the area. The markets' vendors sell fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meat and fish, tea, spices, honey, and anything your kitchen needs. These are all local and fresh. The market is not only for selling/buying. People gather to eat, chat, sing, and walk their dogs. Produce is mostly organic; grown is small farms and free from any chemicals.
أنا هلا رجعت على فانكوفر وبستمتع بأخر أيام صيفية وأسواق المزارعين بالمدينة. مش متأكدة وين بزبط أسواق المزارعين موجودة، بس هم كتير منتشرين بفانكوفر. سوق المزارعين هي أسواق بنظموها الأحياء وببيع فيها المزارعين منتوجاتهم الطازجة لسكان المنطقة. المزارعين ببيعوا خضراوات وفواكه، مخبوزات، لحوم وأسماك، شاي، بهارات، عسل، وأي شيء المطبخ بحتاجو. كلها بتكون طازجة ومحلية.
السوق مش بس للبيع والشراء، الناس بتتجمع، بتاكل، بتتحدث، بتغني، وبتمشي كلابها. الخضراوات بالعادة بتكون عضوية؛ مزروعة بمزارع صغيرة وخالية من أي كيماويات.
British Columbia is known for the huge apples' variety grown in it. With fall season coming soon, everyone was stocking apples for the season. This vendor was selling a huge variety of apples and I asked him for those sour and tart ones to try. I loved the Golden Russet and got some Zubergau and Ola Pearmain to try.
بيريتش كولومبيا (الولاية إلي عايشة فيها) معروفة بأنواع التفاح إلي بتنزع فيها. وبما إنو فصل الخريف قرّب، الكل كان بتشري بتفاح. هاد المزارع كان ببيع تشكيلة كبيرة من التفاح فسألتوا عن أكتر أنواع حامضة ومقرمشة. عجبتني "الجولدن راسيت" وجربت "الزبورجا" و"الأولا بيرمين".

I had to run up straight to Pure Bread for some baked goodies. Luckily, I made through the long line and got their delicious feta and spinach muffin. I also couldn't resist taking a Morning Glory muffin covered in cinnamon.
كان لازم أركض على مخبز "بيور بريد" لأشتري أشياء مخبوزة. بعد الوقفة بالصف الطويل، اشتريت مفن الفيتا والسبانخ وما قدرت أقاوم أجيب مفن "إشراقة الصباح" المغطية بالقرفة.
I also tried this gluten-free roll. It has hummus, pesto, spinach, and bell peppers. It is prepared from sorghum flour and tapioca flour. It was delicious!
